How to make potato cutlet without breadcrumbs/ aloo tikki recipe

In schools, colleges and universities, crispy aloo Tikki is common. Potato patties When we are making a menu for Ramadan patties, kulfipakora or fritters, chicken lollipops and chicken tikka are on priority.
Aloo Tikki or potato cutlet is one of the famous street food in Central Asia, especially in Pakistan and India. Let's make aloo Tikki at home without breadcrumbs. 

Ingredients:
Boiled potatoes           1/2 kg
Green  chillies (finely chopped)              2-3 medium size
Tomato  (roughly chopped)                1 medium size
Cabbage ( finely chopped)                 2/3 cup
Salt                                           as per taste
Tamarind paste                        1/3 cup
Salt                                       as per taste
Turmeric (Haldi) powder             1/2 half teaspoon
Chilli flakes                         1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder                1/2  tablespoon
Oil                                 for frying
All-purpose flour          1 cup
Egg                     2 

DIRECTION:
1. Mash the boiled potatoes with a masher in a bowl. If you do not have the masher, mash the potatoes with a help of a fork.        
2. Add chopped green chillies, tomatoes, and cabbage to the mashed potatoes
3. Add salt, turmeric, chilli flakes, red chilli powder, and tamarind(Imli) paste. Mix it well with a spoon or your hands.
4. After mixing, take some mixture and make a ball or Tikki shape. Do this for all the mixture.
FOR COATING:
5. Take a bowl, break an egg, a pinch of salt and black pepper powder. In a separate bowl, add all-purpose.
6. First dip the Tikki into the egg, then into all-purpose flour.  Make all the Tikki.
FRY POTATO CUTLETS:
7. When oil is medium hot, fry the potato patties until their colour turns golden brown from both sides.
