Jelly is everyone's favourite, especially children. Orange jelly sweet is one of our favourite childhood desserts. It is favourite due to its sour and sweet taste. Let's make our childhood favourite orange jelly candy.
INGREDIENTS:
Oranges 4-5 or 1 glass of orange juice
Sugar 1 tablespoon or as per taste
Corn flour 1 tablespoon
Oil 1 teaspoon
Coconut powder 3 tablespoon
DIRECTION:
1. Peel the orange and take the juice. 1 glass of orange juice is enough.
2. Take the saucepan, add the juice in it.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and cornflour.
4. At low to medium flame, cook the juice for 5 minutes.
5. When the juice gets thicken, switch off the flame.
6. Now take the mould which jelly shape you want.
7. Grease the mould with oil or ghee, remove the excess oil.
8. Add the juice which you thicken in the greased the mould.
9. After filling it, cool it for 2 hours in the refrigerator or fridge.
10. Remove from the mould and cut it into pieces and coat it with coconut powder.
(NOTE: I coat it with sugar powder if you want you can coat it with).
Serve and enjoy the orange jelly sweet.
TIPS:
1. Continuously stir the juice.
2. If you want to coat it with sugar, do not make too much powdery. As some crystals of sugar taste much better.
3. When you remove jelly from mould, first remove it from the corners carefully.
