How to make fried rice at home / easy recipe

 Fried rice is an easy, delicious, mouth-watering, and tasty dish. Fried rice can be prepared with eggs or not. I am sharing the recipe using eggs, chicken, and favourite vegetables which I like, you can add your favourites one. Let starts fried rice with a chicken recipe. 

Fried rice with achar

INGREDIENTS:

Rice               1/2 kg

Eggs                    4

Chicken               250 grams

Chopped capsicum(Green bell pepper)          1/2 cup

Chopped cabbage                    1 cup

Chopped carrot                      1 cup

Chopped tomato                   1 medium size

Green chilli paste         2-3 tablespoon's 

Oil                   1 cup

Garlic                 2 cloves

Onion                  Half medium size

Vinegar               1/3 cup

Peas                     1 cup

Garam masala powder        1/2 teaspoon

Salt                 3 tablespoon or as per taste

Chinese salt(optional)          2 tablespoons

Black pepper powder(Kali Mirch)          1 and 1/2 tablespoons

Water              3-4 glasses

DIRECTION:

STEP 1: Boil the rice

1. Take a saucepan, add rice, chicken, peas, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder, 2 green chillis, half onion, garlic cloves or 2 teaspoons of garlic paste and 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder.

2. Add water to the rice. Cover the saucepan with lit and keep it to boil on medium flame.

3. Boil to rice. switch off the flame when rice is a little bit unboiled as it will completely cook when added in vegetables.

STEP 2: Fry the eggs

1. Take the eggs in the bowl, add 1/2 tablespoon of salt, chilli flakes, red chilli powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of Chinese salt. Mash the eggs well.

2. Take saucepan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and let it to hot. but do not hot the oil too much.

3. When oil gets hot, add mashed eggs and stir them with a spoon continuously.

4. When eggs get scrambled, remove them from the pan and set them asides.

STEP 3: Fry the vegetables

1. In the same pan, add 4 tablespoons of oil. Hot it on low to medium flame.

2. First of all, add chopped carrots. Fry it for 2 minutes.

3. Add chopped cabbage and capsicum to the pan.

4. Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of black pepper powder, and 1 teaspoon of Chinese salt.

5. Add 2-3 tablespoons of green chilli paste and 2-3 tablespoon of vinegar.

6. Mix vegetables and spices together. And it to fry.

7. When the vegetables get fried, add scrambled eggs. Mix it.

STEP 4: Assemble the fried vegetables, eggs, and boiled rice

1. Add the boiled rice to the saucepan having a vegetable mixture.

2.. Mix all together and cook it for 2 minutes.

3. Switch off the flame and dish it out.

                   Serve and enjoy the fried rice.

TIPS:

1. Add salt and spices according to your taste.

2. When the rice is boiling keep it checking as if rice is unboiled and water for boiling is not enough then add more.

3. Add your favourite vegetables more and skip which you do not like.

4. If you add small pieces of chicken during boiling, do not add them. Fry it before adding carrots.

5. Adding large pieces of chicken like legs, boil it with rice. Take it off when it is boiled. Add shredded chicken. And add it when assembling the rice.

6. You can store fried rice in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
