Are you a bananas lover? Banana bread is delicious and moist with the natural flavour of bananas. This bread is the best for breakfast or taken with chai as a snack.
Which bananas is the best for banana bread?
The peels of bananas should be half brown as it will be riped or over riped.
INGREDIENTS:
Bananas 3 medium size
Unsalted Butter or cooking oil 1/2 cup
Salt 1/3 teaspoon
Egg 2
Brown sugar 3/4 cup or 1 cup
Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon
All-purpose flour(maida) 1 and 1/2 cups
Baking soda 1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence(optional) 3 drops
Chocolate chips(optional) 1/3 cup
METHOD:
1. Take a large bowl, mash the bananas completely using a fork.
2. Take room temperature butter, mix it with bananas to make a smooth mixture.
3. In another bowl, take all-purpose flour(maida), baking soda, salt, brown sugar, cinnamon powder and eggs. Mix all very well.
4. Add mixture which made at step 3 to the bananas mixture.
5. Add vanilla essence and chocolate chips in the mixture and mix altogether very well. Butter the loaf pan or add butter pan to the loaf pan. Shift the mixture to the loaf pan.
6. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).
7. Bake the mixture at least 45 minutes or until the tester comes out clean.
8. Take out banana bread from oven and leave it until it gets cool.
9. Remove bread from loaf pan and cut it into slices.
Serve and enjoy the moist delicious banana bread.
How to check that our mixture is baked or not?
Put the tester in the middle of the mixture. If it comes out clean then your mixture is baked completely. Fork or toothpick used as tester.
