Biryani is a famous dish in Asia because of its flavours and taste. Today, I will tell you how to make the recipe of chicken biryani.
INGREDIENTS:
Boiled rice 1 kg
Onion 2 medium size
Tomato 2 medium size
Green chilli 3 medium size
Yoghurt 4 tablespoons
Salt As per taste
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Red chilli flakes 2 teaspoon
Ginger and garlic paste 2 tablespoon
Turmeric 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon
Chicken 250 grams
Oil
Food colour
Green coriander 2/3 cup
Lemon 2
DIRECTIONS:
Boil the rice:
During boiling the rice add 1 tablespoon of salt, a few black pepper, and oil. By adding these, there will be flavour in the rice. Do not boil the rice fully. Remains a little bit un-boiled. After boiling the rice, strain the water.
Chicken preparation:
1. Cut the onion into slices or strips form.
2. Take the 1 cup of oil in the pot and fry the onion strips until it turns to the golden onion.
3. Now, remove 3/4 fried onion and the remaining 1/4 remains in the pot.
4. Add 5 tablespoons of oil and 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add the chicken to the pot.
6. Now, add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, and chilli flakes to the chicken and mix them very well. Also, add chopped tomato.
7. After 4-5 minutes, add 1 cup of yoghurt to the chicken and let them cook until the water(of yoghurt) gets dried.
Layering the rice:
1. Add half the boiled rice to the pot having chicken and even out the layer. Spread half fried onion and green coriander leaves. Cut the lemons in circular form and spread half the lemon on this layer.
2. Now, add the other half boiled rice, fried onion, coriander leaves, and lemon.
3. In the cup, make the solution of food colour by adding the water in the food colour. Remember that, during making the food colour 1/3 cup of water and 1 teaspoon is enough.
4. When you enough out the layers, then add food colours in 3 sides and cover the pot with lit.
5. Now, low the flame.
6. After 12-15 minutes, take off the lit and mix the rice and chicken very well.
Now, dish out the delicious chicken biryani and enjoy it.
TIPS:
1. Pot should be big.
2. The base of the pot should be thick.
