2 mehods to make kheer recipe | Dessert recipe

 Dessert is often taken after the meal. It is also made on occasions to celebrate or share happiness. Like in Asia, Kheer is made on Eids, Diwali, or some other occasions. Everyone has different or the same ways to make Kheer. I will share with you 2 methods of the Kheer recipe.

 METHOD 1: 

INGREDIENTS:

Milk        1 Liter

Rice         Half cup

Sugar       1 & 1/2 cup or as per taste

Cardamom (Choti Elaichi)  powder        1/2 teaspoon

Pistachio (Pista) chopped          1/4 cup

Almond (Bidam) chopped         1/4 cup

DIRECTIONS:

1. Soak the rice in the water for 40-45 minutes.

2. After 40-45 minutes, Grind the rice in the grinder to make a fine paste of it. Set it aside.

3. Take the milk in the saucepan or pot, and boil the milk.

4. When milk is boiled, at this point flame should be low to medium.

5. Add the rice paste and stir it continuously.

6. After 10-15 minutes, add sugar.

7. After 4-5 minutes, add cardamom, half of pistachio, and almonds.

8. After 2-3 minutes, switch off the burner and dish it out.

9. Now sprinkle the chopped almond and pistachio at the top.

                   Chill, serve and enjoy the Kheer.

METHOD 2:

In this method, we use rice flour instead of rice.

INGREDIENTS:

Milk         1 Liter

Rice flour         half cup

Sugar       1 & 1/2 cup or as per taste

Carrot grated(optional)               1/2 cup

Cardamom (Choti Elaichi)  powder        1/2 teaspoon

Pistachio (Pista) chopped          1/4 cup

Almond (Bidam) chopped         1/4 cup

DIRECTION:

1. Take room temperature milk in the pot or saucepan and add the rice flour. The flame should be medium.

2. Stir it continuously for 20 minutes.

3. Add sugar.

4. After 5 minutes, add the carrot, cardamom powder half of pistachio, and almonds Stir it continuously.

5. After7-8 minutes, switch off the flame.

6. Dish it out, sprinkle almonds and pistachios.

                              Chill, serve and enjoy the Kheer.

TIPS:

1. The base of the pot should be thick.

2. During making Kheer, stir it continuously.
