Salads are used as the side meal, different fruits, and raw vegetables e.g. cucumber, tomato, onion, and cabbage, etc. Today I am sharing the onion salad recipe, which is usually made in the summer. It is an easy, and delicious recipe, the best part of this recipe is that all the ingredients of it are always available in our home. You should have to try this one as it is super easy yet very tasteful. After the recipe, some benefits of this salad also discussed.
INGREDIENTS:
1. Medium-sized onion 2-3.
2. Vinegar 2-3 tablespoons.
3. Lemon 2-3 or according to your taste.
4. Salt According to your taste.
5. Black pepper(kali Mirch) Half teaspoon.
6. Water a half litre.
7. Tomato Half.
8. Green chilli 1.
9. Mint or mint powder If mint takes 4 to 5 crushed leaves or mint powder takes half a teaspoon.
PREPARATION:
1. Cut the onion into thin slices into a bowl.
2. Add vinegar, and water into the onion bowl that onion slices soak into the water properly. Mix them very well. Soak the onion slices for 30 minutes so that the smell of onion removes.
3. Cut the tomato and green chilli in a plate or dish.
4. After 30 minutes, separate the onion slices from water, and let it dry.
5. Now add the onion slices into the plate or dish.
6. Add mint or mint powder, salt, black pepper, and sprinkle lemon.
7. Mix all together, and your onion salad is ready.
BENEFITS:
1. It is good anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants prevent the body from the damage from several radicals.
2. It helps in controlling the blood sugar level.
3. It is used in summer usually to prevent the sun stock.
4. It is good for the heart.
